| Paul Caulfield researched and wrote Under
Construction: A Survey of Canada's Information Highway in late 1994
and early 1995. Funded by Heritage Canada, it was, at the time, a ground-breaking
look at the "Information Superhighway", as it was then called. The report
received media attention and spawned a public meeting to discuss its implications.
Ten years later, it is sorely out-of-date, but an interesting historical
document. The web-based version of Under Construction
contains numerous links, but they have not been updated since 1996.
